Princess Anne Middle School is proud to host a screening of Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age. Screenagers is about the impact of the digital age on children and how to help families minimize harmful effects and find balance. After seeing the film, people state that they feel more confident and better equipped to establish balance around screen time. The event will take place Thursday, October 20, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the Princess Anne Middle School Auditorium. We encourage parents to watch the film with their students, especially middle and high school students. Following the screening, we will provide discussion points and guidance on how to manage and have important conversations about what has become one of the most significant challenges facing parents and schools in today’s society.

Student Blog Features
Dr. Bergren is looking for submissions of student writing around the theme of “Connections” or “Making Connections” to showcase on his blog. The writing can cover a wide variety of topics, and do not have to be about school. Students may submit non-fiction, fiction, or poetry. The common thread will be about how those themes come through in the writing. Students may submit writing for consideration directly to Dr. Bergren as an attachment to an email to email@example.com, or via their teachers or parents. Not all entries will be guaranteed publication as he will be vetting the writing for quality (and with the lens of a former English teacher!).
