Lost and Found Items
Students may check for lost and misplaced items during their PAMS/Design Time Monday through Thursday 4/25-4/28. Students must have signed agendas to travel to Mr. Clark's office, room 551, to claim lost and found articles. Students are reminded that items that are not theirs should be neatly returned to the appropriate bins. All lost and found items not claimed prior to our Lend-A-Hand event will be washed and available at discounted prices at this weekend's Lend-A-Hand event. After our Lend-A-Hand event, all remaining items will be donated to charity.

Panther Power Hour News Team
Would you like to be a part of the Panther Power Hour News Team for the 2016 – 2017 school year? If so, click HERE to download and print out the news team application or pick one up in the library. Applications are due to Ms. Crow or Ms. Middleton no later than Friday, April 29th.
TRYOUTS will be held Wednesday, May 4-Friday, May 6 during PAMS time.
Eighth Grade Semi-Formal Celebration
The Eighth Grade Semi-Formal Celebration will be on Friday, June 10, 2016, from 7 – 9 PM. The Dance Committee is working hard on a Hollywood theme complete with a red carpet, DJ, a Photo Wall, a slide show, food, and the Eighth Grade Bests Awards. Parents and students are asked to keep this evening in perspective in terms of dress, transportation, and behavior. The celebration is not a date function; all eighth grade PAMS students are welcome to participate. Tickets will go on sale in June, and the cost will be $10. Help PAMS Destination Imagination Team
PAMS Destination Imagination Team has made it to Globals!!! We are very excited to go and represent not only Princess Anne Middle School but the state of Virginia. The competition is in Knoxville, TN at the University. We are raising funds to help pay for the trip. The funds raised will cover room and board, three meals a day, all on campus activities as well as other events for the team. Please help support us and participate in any or all of the upcoming Cashola nights that we have going on at a couple different local restaurants. All you have to do is tell your server that you would like to support PAMS DI and the team will receive a portion of the proceeds. Thank you in advance for all your support.

Lend-A-Hand Raffle Baskets- Parent Request
As part of our community day event, to raise funds to assist FEED THE NEED, PAMS is sponsoring a raffle contest of themed baskets created by core teams and clubs. We look forward to everyone’s participation! Please find your child’s core team and contribute as you are able. Bookmark Design Contest
Calling all Creative People!! This week is National Library Week. Help us celebrate by entering the “Design-A-Bookmark” contest. This years theme is “Libraries Transform”. Entry forms with complete directions are available in the library or HERE.. All bookmarks will be judged on originality (no tracing or copies), design, and use of this years theme. Entries will be due by April 29. Be creative and have fun!

NJHS Application Process
The National Junior Honor Society application process that will begin after spring break. Please view the PowerPoint to better understand the goals and application process of the NJHS here at PAMS. The application period for qualified students is April 8-May 12, 2016.Seventh and eighth grade students who are eligible to apply will receive a letter around April 8 instructing them to access the NJHS wikispace for the application. Teachers will not accept recommendation forms to complete until after April 8. Students are welcome to peruse the application site to see what the application is like and to start collecting verification signatures from outside activity sponsors. www.pamsnjhs.wikispaces.com

ATC Summer Camp
The Advanced Technology Center is excited to announce our annual ATC Summer Camp for Rising 9th Grade Students’ for four days August 8th - 11th. The camp is open to 60 rising 9th grade students whose parents/guardians are residents of Virginia Beach. The fee is $125.00.

Spirit Wear will be sold on the following dates outside the cafeteria during lunches. May 6 & 20.
PAMS recycles old batteries. All you have to do is drop off your old batteries in the box at the front desk and we will take care of the rest. Acceptable Batteries: AA, AAA, C, D, 9 volt, 6 volt lantern, hearing aid, watch, calculator, and dry cell. Last year PAMS recycled 1,716 batteries. Currently we are at 2,192 for the year. Let's surpass last year's total!
